The way we work:
1. Floor Plan Development and Interior Architecture
After an initial in-depth briefing with the client to understand their specific needs, preferences, and functional requirements, we will proceed to evaluate and reconfigure the internal layout of the space. Our team will carefully develop and refine the floor plan, exploring different possibilities for optimal space utilisation, flow, and functionality.
This process continues until we reach a final plan that meets the client’s expectations and maximises the potential of the property. Throughout this phase, we’ll consider structural elements, spatial relationships, and how each room will function within the broader vision for the property’s design.
2. Design Concept
Simultaneously with the floor plan development, we will create and present a Design Concept for the property. This concept will serve as the visual and conceptual foundation for the entire project, incorporating key design principles such as style, mood, and atmosphere. We’ll introduce a carefully curated selection of materials, colour palettes, and textures that reflect the client’s taste and aspirations. Additionally, we will provide visualisations (3D renderings or mood boards) that allow the client to visualise how these elements will come together to form a cohesive look and feel throughout the space.
3. Detailed Design – Specific Room Designs
Once the floor plans and conceptual direction are approved, we will move into detailed room-by-room design. This stage involves meticulously planning and specifying all elements within each room, from ceiling treatments, mouldings, and panelling to lighting, bespoke joinery, and custom furniture pieces. We’ll also focus on designing fully functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchens and bathrooms, paying attention to every detail—from cabinetry and countertops to plumbing fixtures and tile layouts. Each room will be designed with an eye for both form and function, ensuring that every element serves a purpose while contributing to the overall aesthetic of the space.
4. Procurement
During the procurement phase, we will coordinate the sourcing and purchasing of all materials, fixtures, and furniture required for the project. This includes obtaining cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring that every item aligns with the client’s design vision. We’ll oversee the technical execution of the designs, working closely with trusted suppliers and craftsmen to source high-quality products. The installation of permanent fixtures such as flooring, tiles, sanitary ware, custom joinery, and kitchen components will be managed in this phase, ensuring seamless integration of all design elements.
5. Installation
Once all materials and furnishings are procured, we will move into the final installation phase, where we handle the complete setup and styling of the spaces. This includes the delivery and installation of all furniture, soft furnishings, and decorative accessories, ensuring everything is positioned with precision. We’ll also source and install artwork, ornamental pieces, and any additional small furniture items that contribute to the final aesthetic. Our team will ensure that every detail is thoughtfully arranged and styled, bringing the entire design vision to life and creating a fully realised, cohesive home.
