PROJECTS
A small, considered body of work, mostly across Hertfordshire.
Every project on this page began with a simple conversation with the client. A family who knew something wasn't working, but couldn't quite put their finger on what. A house that needed to hold more than it currently did but they couldn’t work out how.
What follows is what happened next.
Some are cosmetic — three rooms, six months, a warehouse install and a finished home. Others are full-home renovations that ran alongside architects and contractors for over a year. Each one is different in shape, but similar in intent: to take a house and turn it into a home that actually reflects the people living in it.
Every project is named after an artist. It's how we talk about them in the studio, how we remember them, and how we distinguish them from the postcodes they sit at.
Based in Hertfordshire
I work mostly across Harpenden, St Albans, Radlett and the villages around them. I know the local housing stock, the way planning tends to move in the conservation areas, the agents, and the way news of a good designer travels around here.
If you're thinking about a project, the best first step is a conversation. Free, unhurried, on site where possible. Whether you end up working with me or not, you'll leave with a clearer sense of what your home actually needs.
